Well, this year for Thanksgiving, we stayed at home. Initially, we were going to go to my sister's house, but things didn't quite work out as planned. It was a nice simple Thanksgiving; we had a deep fried turkey (courtesy of Kroger grocery store), homemade rolls, sweet potato souffle, creamy potatoes, green peas, a pecan pie, and an apple pie. After talking about what we were thankful for and stuffing our faces, we went on a family wagon ride around the neighborhood, which can wear a very pregnant woman out. At one point during the walk, Rich kicked the kids out of the wagon (except Emma), so I could get in for a short break. Brooke immediately got a concerned look on her face, and asked, "Daddy, what if Mommy breaks the wagon?" Gotta love a child's honesty?!??? After our walk, and Brooke's oh so encouraging words, we went back to the house for an evening of family togetherness.

I was hoping to see the picture of you in the wagon.
Yeah! Me too!
It was embarrasing enough being pulled around in a wagon, especially after Brooke's question; there was no way I would have let Rich near me with a camera. Rich may have used it for blackmail. :)
